Hello,
My name is Megan Cashion. I am the owner and founder of Rise Accounting and Rise: The Foundation. I have worked in the accounting world, from small retailers to manufacturing and international accounting. I began my career in 2019 at a small welding supply company. I currently work full-time in an accounting role with a manufacturing company that produces resistance welding parts. This business and idea was placed in my heart after seeking God for a burden and a way to use my story to help others while bringing him glory. I am also currently enrolled at Liberty University pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in data analytics and a minor in accounting. I look forward to getting to know you and your company as we work together.
Total Annual Amount Paid to Rise Accounting: $15,000 (0-200) / $18,600 (201-500) / $21,000 (500+)
Versus a W2 Employee
Hourly Wage: Competitive average in area ($20)
Part-Time Hours (25): $20 X 25 Hours = $500/week
Total Annual Amount Paid to Employee: $500/week × 52 Weeks in a year = $26,000, not including payroll tax
You would need to pay an employee roughly $16/hr or less to meet the same annual investment, which is less than the competitive pay rate.
With one predictable set rate, you are able to accurately project expenses with no surprise fees.
This is the same perk for us as well. We are able to accurately project cash flow.
